CardVerity Store
Seller Terms
Effective August 21, 2026. These are interim terms published ahead of review by counsel; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. They apply in addition to the Terms of Service.
Listing honestly
List the exact item you hold: the exact printing, language, and finish, with a condition grade you can stand behind. Photographs of the actual card are encouraged on every listing; buyers filter for them, and they are the strongest evidence in any claim. Listing through the Collector app carries your existing photographs onto the listing automatically.
Fees
CardVerity charges a commission on completed sales. The fee for a listing is shown to you before you publish it and again on the order record; there are no hidden charges. Payment processing costs are included in what you see.
Fulfillment commitments
Ship within the handling time on your profile, with tracking, packaged appropriately for the value and condition of the card. Your on-time record, cancellation rate, and claim outcomes are part of your seller standing and are shown to buyers as your tier.
Payouts
Payouts are made through our payment processor to the account you connect. Funds from an order become available for payout after the delivery and claim window for that order, and can be held where fraud or an open claim requires it.
What ends a selling privilege
Counterfeit or altered items, condition misrepresentation as a pattern, shill bidding or price manipulation, repeated failure to ship, or moving transactions off the marketplace to avoid fees. CardVerity removes sellers who do these things and reports counterfeits where the law requires.
Taxes
Sellers are responsible for their own tax obligations. Where marketplace facilitator rules apply, CardVerity collects and remits the taxes those rules require and reports what the law obliges it to report.
