Privacy Notice
Effective August 21, 2026. This is an interim notice published ahead of review by counsel; material changes will be posted on this page with a new effective date. The public website at cardverity.com has its own notice.
What we collect
Account information: when you sign up, our sign-in provider (Clerk) processes your email address and sign-in credentials on our behalf. Order information: when commerce is active, orders record what was bought and sold, shipping details, and payment status; card payments are processed by our payment processor and full card numbers never reach CardVerity. Listings and collections: the items, descriptions, and photographs you add. Operational logs: our hosting provider processes ordinary technical logs, such as IP address, browser details, requested pages, and timestamps, to run and protect the service.
What we do not do
There are no marketing cookies, no advertising trackers, and no cross-site profiles on the store or Collector. We do not sell personal information.
How information is used
To operate accounts, listings, orders, and claims; to show sellers and buyers what they need to complete a transaction; to prevent fraud and abuse; and to meet legal obligations such as tax reporting where they apply.
Who processes data for us
Clerk (sign-in), our payment processor (payments), our hosting and storage providers (infrastructure and listing images). Catalog reference images are served from the TCGdex content network. Each processor handles data under its own agreement with us.
What other members see
Sellers appear under their display names with their fulfillment record. Buyers see listing photographs and seller profiles. Sellers see what they need to fulfill an order, including the shipping address for that order. Collections are private unless you share them.
Retention and your choices
Account and order records are kept while your account is active and as long as the law requires for completed transactions. You can ask us to correct information, export your data, or close your account and delete what we are not legally required to keep: hello@cardverity.com.
